Yes, you can apply for a Masters programme. Since they are highly competitive, you are advised to work hard during your PGD and gain some work experience. You must also demonstrate interest in RnD.

Canadian PG Diplomas are popular however if you will get a job will depend on your skills and academic performance. Obtaining a job in Canada is possible since work permit options are available for international graduates. Obtaining a work experience in Canada before applying to other countries will give you better prospects. It is wise to check with the colleges directly for global career assistance.

You can compare the colleges you have shortlisted or yet to be shortlisted. If its IIM, ISB, XLRI and the top ranking ones you may consider an MBA in itself. However, if you get into a top ranking university in Canada you should consider the second option for better prospects globally. Remember ISB and IIM are listed in the world rankings and globally reputed.
