Hi,
MS programs are competitive and especially if you are applying to a research based program. Your grades are fine however admissions committee will also consider your reference letters, personal statement, GRE scores and overall application. Chances could be high if you work on your overall profile, visit university websites before applying.

Hi,
Universities in Canada requires a four year Bachelor degree. So, applying with a three year degree may not be fruitful. You must also take your IELTS and even a GRE if the university requires it. Admissions are extremely competitive and high academic grades are required. Check with some universities directly.

Mechanical engineer can have a very bright future in Canada. For study purpose there are diploma & PG diploma courses of 13 years in fields like designing, heavy material equipment, project management, electromechanical automation & robotics, etc.
For doing job, we all know that Canada is not well populated country. And so, competition is much lesser than in Australia. Besides that, there is always requirement of skilled human resources. And there are oil rigs in Alberta, which provides many great opportunities, in oil & gas sector if interested.

Hi Himaagni,
Chances are good but additional requirements are also there such as GRE and demonstration of research work. MS programs in Canadian universities are mostly research based and leads to a Ph.D. You must be accepted by a research supervisor as well. I will advice you to visit university websites first and go through the MS program requirements.

Hello Jay,
Admission in any university abroad depends on a lot of dynamic factors. Proficiency in English, grades in your previous studies, etc. But with your CGPA, I think you should get admission. But remember the process in many a countries is pretty lengthy and one needs to begins many months before course is set to commence.
Best wishes.
