1. Mechanical engineering : One of the most diverse and versatile engineering fields, mechanical engineering is the study of objects and systems in motion. As such, the field of mechanical engineering touches virtually every aspect of modern life, including the human body, a highly complex machine. The role of a mechanical engineer is to take a product from an idea to the marketplace. To accomplish this, the mechanical engineer must be able to determine the forces and thermal environment that a product, its parts, or its subsystems will encounter; design them for functionality, aesthetics, and durability; and determine the best manufacturing approach that will ensure operation without failure. Mechanical engineers play key roles in a wide range of industries including automotive, aerospace, biotechnology, computers, electronics, micro electro mechanical systems, energy conversion, robotics and automation, and manufacturing.
2. Civil engineering : Civil engineers design, build, and maintain the foundation for our modern society our roads and bridges, drinking water and energy systems, sea ports and airports, and the infrastructure for a cleaner environment, to name just a few. Civil engineering is an exciting profession because at the end of the day you can SEE the results of your work, whether this is a completed bridge, a high-rise building, a subway station, or a hydroelectric dam. Civil engineering touches us throughout our day.
3. Electrical engineering : Electrical engineering is one of the newer branches of engineering, and dates back to the late 19th century. It is the branch of engineering that deals with the technology of electricity. Electrical engineers work on a wide range of components, devices and systems, from tiny microchips to huge power station generators. Some of the most prominent pioneers in electrical engineering include Thomas Edison (electric light bulb), George Westinghouse (alternating current), Nikola Tesla (induction motor), Guglielmo Marconi (radio) and Philo T. Farnsworth (television). These innovators turned ideas and concepts about electricity into practical devices and systems that ushered in the modern age. The selection of engineering branches are depends upon the interest of individual. However if you have strong background in Mathematics than opt for Mechanical or Civil engineering. Otherwise Electrical is the best.
