In my opinion, both the courses are career-oriented, the only difference between the two programs is the syllabus followed. PGDM follows the one set by the college academics, while the MBA follows the University syllabus. However, when it comes to employment, both the course students have equal opportunities. You may want to check out the PIBM, Pune, where training provided are industry-oriented.
