As per the information available on Institute of Actuaries of India regarding the eligibility criteria, Candidate should have HSC passed, graduate, post graduate, Engineer, MBA, CA ICWA etc. With sound knowledge in Mathematics & Statistics. The following are the other requirements as under.
1. Loves logic and problem solving
2. Good communicator
3. Excellent business awareness
So if you have the sound knowledge in Mathematics and Statistics than can be eligible for ACET exam.

FATA rule allows pilots from defence pilots to join commercial Aviation and serve the airlines as a full time pilot. The selection is also easy and there is a separate lateral entry for defence personnel. If you have retired from any ground job in forces than you may find similar jobs in Air India specially. There is a specific amount of reservation for retired defence personnel in Air India. I don't have much idea about how other airlines do that. All the best.
