Bachelor of Mass Media is an undergraduate course, which can be completed within three-year time duration. The course study enables the participants to understand diverse aspects related to communication, journalism, and advertising. The same helps them to build up a challenging career in any of the mass communication media. Broadly, we can say that media studies inquire into technological innovations, which mediate interactions that is, enable new ways for us to talk to each other. Radio and television, film, blogs and Twitter, Instagram are all media. So are books and photographs. Media Studies asks questions about the nature and effect of these means of interaction. RADIO was the first medium of entertainment for people around the world. While there are many who think that the radio has faded away, absolutely not! The radio is everyone pastime while on their way to work and to get their daily dose of entertainment while the radio jockey entertains with his/her wit and also some elements of winning gifts. Although the job of being a radio jockey is tough as you are live On Air, if you are the talkative one and can make people laugh, then a radio jockey has to be your career choice.
NEWSPAPERS are the daily dose of information on different topics like politics, sports, entertainment, love and relationships, etc. Everyone gets up to a daily dose of reading newspaper along with a cup of tea. Although, it's not necessary to be a journalist to write articles in a newspaper, if you have a flare for writing and can cover up daily news or events in a neighboring area and express your thoughts through your pen, then write for newspapers.
