Getting an initial start is always tough, try updating your resume in various job portals. If you can get CCNA certified then it will boost your chances of being hired. As you are in Pune, it will be quite easy to get in since Pune is becoming an IT Hub now. Various companies have their data center & network operation over there. Keep checking websites of Network / ISP organisations. Openings keep coming every now and then. There is no easier trick as such, except good amount of referral sources in different company.

Hi,, you should then without doubt go for B.A. Journalism(H). You may also consider mass communication as a second option and apply for it too. Mass Communication is a more broad and wide field in which the field of journalism comes. But since you are very clear about just journalism, go for B.A. Journalism (H) and focus in this field only by studying in detail.
