Everyone has his/her different field of interest/opinion. You have to decide this yourself. No field is bad if you work with good skills and knowledge. But, according to me, an interdisciplinary field like engineering or science will be better for you in terms of scope and demand. You can consider fields like mechatronics, biomedical engineering, data science, bioinformatics, geoinformatics, etc.

If you are good in drawing then the answer is yes. Animation and VFX are the future of the entertainment industry so definitely the field will require more manpower. By considering future need, I can say that animation is a good career option after your higher secondary schooling.

Your situation seems to be just like mine. I am a graduate in BCA. Now I want to do forensics. Most of the universities that I have searched require a 3 year degree, whereas for atleast 2 years you should have studied bio/phy/che/maths (atleast 2 subjects) or a degree in forensics. I will let you know if I succeed in finding the one that suits the situation.
