Architecture is a very good career option for any gender in India, with the government publishing that an immediate requirement of 8 lakh architects in the next twenty years would be required to build the infrastructure for the country. Doing engineering does not necessarily mean that you have to work in that particular sector. It is just a graduation course and B.Tech especially offers a wide variety of careers to choose after its completion. If you are interested in financial markets you could probably do Masters in that field. As per my suggestion, I think, you should complete your graduation and then go ahead with financial markets for further studies.

It would be quiet difficult for you as M.Des is totally different stream from the CS department and in starting you might not get anything that is been taught in the class, if you can able to cope up with that than you are done with it and also the placements of this course is far better than the CSE department.

Firstly, B.Sc (Botany) is a graduation subject like any other major papers. So, after B.Sc (Botany), you can pursue M.Sc (Botany) in a good University by either through entrance examination or by joining some good private university if you have the luxury of paying high fees. Further, you can later appear for NET/JRF/SET and pursue M.Phil. Or Ph.D. And go for Lecturership and Research. Moreover, you can also prepared for competitive exams like UPSC, SSC, SBI PO and all other state PCS.
