No, it's harder to get into Institute of Management, Banaras Hindu University with 70 percentile.
The Institute of Management Studies, Banaras Hindu University, is unlikely to accept candidates with 70% in CAT, as the CAT percentile required for admission to top MBA colleges generally ranges from 80 to 99.
Also, the cutoff according to current year's scenario is 85 percentile. So, you have to score at least 85 percentile to get into the Institute of Management, Banaras Hindu Univesity.
However, there are several other colleges whose cutoff lies between 70 percentile to 80 percentile. Some of these include the Institute of Management

Yes, as MKBU comes under tier 2, and the cut off is usually 70% and above in tier 2 colleges.
The candidate can get into MKBU with 88%.

Candidates seeking MBA admissions under the Management Quota must have written one of the entrance tests – CAT, XAT, CMAT, ATMA, MAT or TANCET or any State Level Admission Test conducted by the respective states (outside Tamil Nadu). The selection process is based on the scores in the entrance test as well as past academic record and performance at the Group Discussion and Personal Interview organized by the Institution.
SSN School of Management admission to full-time MBA course is through CAT, CMAT and MAT 2023.
So yes it accept MAT score.

CAT is one of the accepting exams for CUSAT MBA admission. There are two types of CAT accepted for MBA. One is CAT conducted by conducted by IIM for admission to MBA programme. The other is CUSAT CAT conducted by Cochin University of Science and Technology. CUSAT CAT is accepted for MBA and other courses except PhD and Diploma programmes. Now the question is, if it is mandatory or not.
No, it is not. Aspirants who have passed KMAT or CMAT can also take admission to MBA programme. Aspirants shortlisted based on the entrance exam score are further evaluated in group discussion and personal interview round.
