Group is not going to be decide your career future. Depending upon your interest you need to select your group in intermediate. There are so many career options available for each group. If your ambition is
To become a doctor you need to take Bi. P. C group
To become an Engineer you need to take MPC group
To become a Chartered Accountant, Financial analyst, Business Analyst or want to move any other career related to Finance, you need to take either CEC or MEC group

It is totally dependent upon what you want out of your career, A master's degree helps in profile diversification and adds up to your resume which includes higher pay. I'd recommend definitely going for it but if money is not a contributing factor in your life right now take a year break and concentrate on CAT.

That is a splendid profile for good colleges. It is very hard for Iims to reject the 9-9 profiles (90% in 10th 90%in 12th). Adding to that is your work ex which is a major profile decider. Also, you have a decent score in CAT so you can expect good calls.
