Sorry to say, with 43% in 12th, it won't be possible for you to get shortlisted for the most of the premier MBA institutes even if you do very good in CAT.

For getting a call from IIMS, you would be required to have your CAT score above 95 percentile. The best IIMS, call students when they have their percentile above 90% or 95%. You have a good academic background, so you just need to score your best in CAT rest there is a fair chance that you will get in. All the best.

Hello Samadhan,
You have asked a very intriguing and interesting query. If I have understood correctly, you are asking whether after completion of your maritime engineering course is the placement done based on class 10th 12th or Diploma course? No, I don't think so because after the completion of your engineering graduation when you appear for placements interview, the prospective interviewers will give you placement based only on your performance in the graduation or the interview. They normally will overlook your marks of class 10th, 12th or Diploma even if you are being asked to give this information to the incoming placement teams

Hi,
All of the 3 streams are good and provide immense opportunities in their respective fields. Then the question arises that which stream should I join. This is very crucial decision since your future would be dependent on the stream you choose. If you have inclination towards science or if are a student who can study continuously for long hours for 2 years, then you should opt for science. If you are good in numbers and calculations and want to see immediate practical application of what you study then choose commerce. Arts is a great stream and if you have interest in this you can go ahead but be ready to mug up things. One advantage
