Candidates preparing for the CEED 2024 exam need to follow the following syllabus when preparing for Part B of CEED 2024:

Drawing: Ability to draw products, people, or scenes in proportion with good line quality, composition, proportion, perspective, and shading. 

Creativity: Capacity to think out-of-the-box and come up with unique as well as diverse solutions. 

Communication: Skills to communicate concepts and ideas clearly with the help of text and visuals. 

Problem identification: Capability to understand the user and the context, knowledge of properties of materials, and their appropriate use in design.

The CEED 2024 exam will 3 hours long and have two parts. 

Part A of the CEED 2024 question paper will be computer-based mode and include three types of questions - MCQ, MSQ, and NAT. The duration of Part A will be 1 hour. Meanwhile, Part B will be 2-hour long and include subjective questions. Part B will be conducted offline. 

It may be noted that Part B answers booklets will be evaluated only of the candidate qualified for Part A. So, to be included in the merit list, the candidate must qualify for Part A.

Candidates may note that the CEED 2024 syllabus has been revised. 

IIT Bombay has released the detailed syllabus for CEED 2024 on March 3, 2023. The syllabus outline the subject-wise topics candidates need to prepared for the CEED 2024 exam. 

The revised syllabus is effective from 2024 onward. Candidates appearing in CEED 2024 must make it a point to follow the revised syllabus for exam preparation. 

Candidates can request for a change in the test city and the same will be accommodated by authorities provided there is a valid reason. To change the CEED 2024 exam city, candidates need to make a request to the office of the Chairperson, IIT Bombay within the stipulated time. The CEED 2024 exam will be conducted in 27 cities (up from 24 in the last edition) across the country. Each of these cities can have one or more exam centres. The name of the exam centre allocated to the candidate will be mentioned in the admit card.

Candidates can know the status of their CEED 2024 application form on the official registration portals of the exam. In a situation wherein any more information or document is required then the CEED office gets in touch with aspirants through their registered email. It may be note that complete applications will be rejected.

The application form for CEED 2024 OPENED on October 3, 2023. The candidate must carefully go through the step-wise process to fill out the form.

Candidates had to report any issue faced by them while filling the CEED 2024 application form by clicking on the 'Report Problem' tab that is present on the right side of the application process windows. The tab is highlight in yellow colour. On clicking this tab, candidates had to elaborate on the problem that they are experiencing and also mention their registration number.

It was recommended that candidates fill out the form as soon as possible and don't wait for the last few days. It is because students could face serve or other such issues which could delay or hinder the application process.

IIT Bombay has revised the application fee for CEED 2024.

The updated application fee that candidates have to pay an application fee when applying for the CEED 2024 exam is shown below.

Women candidates - INR 1900

SC, ST, PwD candidates - INR 1900

All other candidates - INR 3800

The candidate will have to pay a fee as per the category they belong. If the candidate selects the wrong category and pay the wrong feels, he or she may be disqualified. So, care must be taken when selecting ones category.
