Yes, it is mandatory to fill the CEETA application. Without registering, candidates cannot qualify for the CEETA PG admission. 

CEETA application form can be filled online only. Students who meet eligibility can fill and submit form before due date. Before filling application form of CEETA PG, students have to register and provide their personal and educational qualification details.

After qualifying for CEETA PG 2026, candidates can get admission in the following universities -

• University Departments of Anna University, Chennai, Anna University Regional Campuses and University Colleges of Engineering
• Annamalai University and
• Government and Government-Aided Engineering Colleges

Candidates must check the eligibility before applying. 

All candidates seeking admission to the Annamalai University ME programme must apply for the CEETA PG exam. The fee to apply for the exam is as follows:

Anna University conducts CEETA PG exam. The exam is held in March. Candidates seeking admission to Annamalai University's ME courses must register and appear for the exam. The application for the exam can be submitted by visiting the official website of Anna University.

Candidates applying for the CEETA PG must pay the application fees during the registration process. The accepted payment mode is net banking/credit card/debit card. The fees for the CEETA PG application form is as follows -

• For SC/ST/SCA of Tamil Nadu - INR 500
• For other applicants - INR 1000

Candidates who have appeared and qualified for CEETA PG exam will be eligible for the CEETA PG counselling. These candidates need not apply for CEAP. Their admissions will be done through CEETA PG category, based on the scores obtained. Eligible candidates must register to participate in the counselling. 

CEETA PG counselling is conducted online. Only qualfied candidates of CEETA are eligible for counselling. CEAP is responsible for conducting CEETA PG counselling and comprises registration, document verification, choice filling, seat allotment, and reporting.

Yes, Sri Sairam Engineering College admission to ME/ M.Tech course is based on CEETA-PG score. It is a state-level entrance test conducted by Anna University once in a year in offline mode. The exam is conducted for two hours and includes 115 questions. Once selected, candidates have to participate in CEETA-PG Counselling for admission.

Yes, CEETA-PG is required for admission to M.E./MTech at Kongu Engineering College. CEETA is the Common Entrance Examination for Engineering and Architecture which is mandatory for admission to M.E./MTech. Candidates seeking admission to M.E./MTech are required to apply and appear for CEETA- PG to be eligible for admission. Further, the college also accepts the GATE exam for admission to M.E./MTech.
