Hi Shreyansh,
You have a very competitive profile. I would suggest you check admission requirements and apply to the University of Toronto, University of Waterloo, University of Alberta, University of British Columbia, McGill University, University of Victoria and University of Calgary. Check deadlines and apply early. SOP and recommendation letters are also very important.

Hi Harsh,
Since, you want to pursue chemical engineering, so the best college other than IIT-Mumbai is ICT-Mumabi. For this, you need to take MHCET exam and score really well in that.
All the best.

Hi Fabin,
As per your marks and home state quota bonus, you will get chemical engineering in NIT, Calicut, in the 3rd or 4th round, because closing rank of chemical engineering is higher.
All the best.

Stress is everywhere.
The most important thing is that which area fascinates you the most. USA has very good scope in mechanical engineering. But please ensure Never apply to AZ, CA, NM as most of the companies here are defence companies and will not hire a foreigner.
For Canada, the scope is good if you study either of the engineering from a Canadian University.

GATE 2017 was easy as compared to 2016 and 2015. So, you can expect the cutoff doe Chemical engineering to be anywhere between 34-38 out of 100. Having said that the ranks would fall in this order approximately:
Rank Under 100 75+
101 to 250 65 to 75
251 to 500 55 to 65
Rank 500+ Less than 55
