Chemical Engineering is way better than civil in NITK. People usually go for civil if they don't get any. Even if you are interested in civil, go for chemical in NITK. It is far better in placements and internships.

Hello, canada is an academically inclined country. You need to have a very good score of above 70 percent to get into good canadian universities. You need to have not more than 5 backlogs in your academic learning. You will have to appear for IELTS or TOEFL exam And GMAT as required by the canada universities. Prepare an excellent statement of purpose that would convince the admission officer to consider your application.

See branch also matters, all things don't depend on College rankings. If one College has a higher ranking then you can not blindly choose any branch. First of all go with your interest, in which field you are interested, then choose other things.
