Chemical engineering has many more elements of science and maths in it. Depending on the college the syllabus are often very rigorous and demanding. Jobs related to the field are presently low, but the good thing is that with the knowledge you possess from your graduation programme you can get a job in many similar industries and also try for government jobs. Later on, it would be best if you go for a Masters programme as well.

Hi Siddharth, You should go for those branches in which you are comfortable. As you know BITS Mesra is one of the prestigious colleges of India. You will get a job in all the branches including civil, chemical, production also. The faculty members and infrastructure of the college are also good. So, if you don't have any difficulties with these branches, then you should definitely go for BITS Mesra. This college is a dream for many students. Rest depends on your interest. Best of luck!

Hi Aashi, the placement scenario at BITS, Pilani is best in the country. You can expect a placement in top core companies as a chemical engineer. Many petrochemicals companies, paint companies, cement companies visit the campus for recruitment.
