Hi,In Pune, only 2 colleges are left and good for chemical engineering which are MIT Kothrud and VIT. In Mumbai, there is ICT which is good.

Marine engineering is difficult, but has better opportunities than chemical industry. At last it all depends on your interest. You can check the link for full details about scope, job opportunities, syllabus, entrance exam, and the best Marine engineering colleges in Tamil Nadu. Thanks.

Study wise, it is fine, but placements are not so good. So, I would suggest you to not opt for chemical engineering in VIT.

Studies wise, it is very good. Faculty is also very good. Hostel life is also very good. Placement is okay.
