Well, both branches are good.
Depends on what you want to do. Engineers apply principles from science to create practical solutions to real-world problems. Chemical engineers use chemistry to develop fuel, food, drugs and new substances. Petroleum engineers cover chemistry and geology to extract oil and gas from under the earth's surface. Though both professions need a Bachelor's degree, they study different subjects.

It entirely depends upon you. Both these colleges have their brand name. You can decide whether to be an IITian or NITian. But if you are concerned with the knowledge then NIT, Trichy cannot be replaced by IIT Dhanbad. Apart from that, NIT has cent percent record in placements.

Hi,
Both NIT Agartala and NIT Rourkela are good. In case of CSE in NIT Agartala, Placements: Placement is not very much impressive. Because of its remote location few companies are willing to visit for campus placements. Placement for CSE branch is comparatively good. 90% of the job offers come from IT sector. Placement for non CSE branches are not good. Generally 2u20133 IT service based companies (like Infosys, IBM, Wipro, Tech Mahindra etc. ). Visit for mass campus drives. They hire like 70u2013150 people in a slot. Then some product based IT companies (like Samsung, Oracle, information edge etc. ). Also come. They hire like 2u20137

NIT-Rourkela has been ranked at 12th position by NIRF rankings. Chemical Engineering is very good academic wise in NIT Rourkela. Chemical Engineering is one of the oldest branches of NIT Rourkela.
