No, the IIT Madras does not have such an integrated B.Tech + M.Tech dual degree in the field of study of "Forensic Chemistry." Although IIT Madras has several dual degree programs (B.Tech & M.Tech, or BS & MS) in engineering and Science related disciplines, and at its Chemistry department there are several faculty who have extensive experience in the field of Forensic Chemistry, the latter itself is not mentioned as a separate and special integrated option. You can think of a B.Tech in Chemical Engineering or some related field (perhaps Chemistry) and then contact other universities to see whether they offer an M.Sc in Forensic Science

The CHSE Odisha Chemistry syllabus for 2025 typically includes topics from Physical, Organic, and Inorganic Chemistry. Key areas are Solid State, Solutions, Electrochemistry, Chemical Kinetics, Coordination Compounds, Aldehydes and Ketones, Biomolecules, and Polymers. The syllabus follows NCERT Class 12 books closely. It's best to refer to your school or the official board circular for the exact updated syllabus.

If you have already cleared your compartment exam and applied for improvement but remain absent, it will not affect your previously cleared result. Your the latest mark sheet will reflect the better of the two scores, provided you appear. However, being absent in improvement means your previous marks stand valid. The CBSE board treats improvement exams as an opportunity to enhance marks, not as a compulsory attempt. Ensure that your documents, such as pass certificates, are updated accordingly. It is always best to attend if you want to strengthen your academic record.

With a score of seventy-three marks in CUET PG Chemistry, you may find that options at top central universities for M.Sc. Chemistry are quite limited this year. Most of the well-known institutions, like Banaras Hindu University or the Central University of Haryana, have expected cutoffs much higher, often in the range of one hundred seventy to above two hundred twenty marks for the general category.

With 70 marks in CUET PG Chemistry:

- Top universities like DU and JNU are unlikely.

- Possible options include Central University of Kerala, Central University of Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry University, and BHU.

- Check specific cutoffs for better guidance.

The closing rank for general category in M.Sc Chemistry was around 787.

You rank is actually very close to the cutoff.

You may receive a seat in 2nd round or 3rd round as it might change across the rounds when seats freed.

Congratulations on your excellent rank and all the best.

With an OBC of 11777 in JEE main 2025 you might have a chance to get into an integrated M.Sc in Chemistry at some National Institute of Technology based on previous Trends especially if the cutoff for that specific course and your category remain similar to increase slightly

Chapter 2 is Structure of Atom, aka the OG Science breakdown of how literally everything exists. You'll learn stuff like Bohr's model, orbitals, quantum numbers — all the nerdy magic that makes atoms behave. Sounds heavy, but once you get the hang of it, it lowkey feels like unlocking the Matrix. Trust the process, and maybe don't sleep through this one.
