To get admitted to Chitkara University Chandigarh, applicants must fulfill the most recent requirements for education. The applicant must earn a 50% to 65% aggregate in Class 12. The course selection criteria are based on merit. To be eligible for a BBA program, an applicant must have a minimum TWE (essay) score of 4.0, an IBT score of 88 with no section below 20, and a TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) score of at least 570 (or 230 if computer-based).

According to the NIRF report 2023, 1,006 BTech and 380 MBA students were placed during Chitkara University placements 2022.
