The duration of Construction Engg. courses varies on the basis of the course level and the college offering the course. For a diploma in Construction Engg., the time span is mostly 3 years in India. For UG courses, the time span is 4 years in general. For PG courses, you need to invest 2 years because the coursework involves in-depth research. You can also go for a PhD in Construction Engineering and Management that is 3 to 6 years long, depending on your research topic.

Further, you need to give relevant lateral entry entrance tests either conducted by the university or the state.
