Absolutely Not! You must not commit the mistake of copying or plagiarizing an SOP. It will leave a bad impact on your application and you stand a chance of getting rejected by the university. Plagiarism is not tolerated in your application documents. An SOP reflects your personality, your achievements, and your future goals. No one else can write it better except for yourself. You can definitely take the help of experts, but they can only proofread and make corrections up to a certain level. Hence, it is strictly advised that one should not copy an SOP.

It is certainly acceptable to add in your SOP for Civil Engineering your extracurricular activities and academic achievements. These achievements can provide important information about your abilities, passions, and possible contributions to the civil engineering curriculum. Make sure, nevertheless, that the experiences you highlight are clearly relevant to the profession of civil engineering or feature transferable abilities. Showcasing your accomplishments will bolster your application and demonstrate your preparedness for further civil engineering coursework.

JEE Main percentile score for B.Tech. in Civil Engineering at Muzaffarpur Institute of Technology should be around 90-96 for general category students. For OBC candidates, the percentile must be in the range of 85-90. Specific percentile requirements can vary based on the particular course and category.

Approximately 80 to 90% of students got placed in B.Tech Civil Engineering at Dream Institute Of Technology. The highest package offered is INR 15 LPA, while the lowest package is INR 4 LPA. INR 6 LPA is the average package offered. Harman Connected Services India Private Limited and MSys Tech India Private Limited are the top hiring firms in town. Almost every student is placed without difficulty.

You can definitely pursue Civil Engineering through B Tech distance education that is available at around 30 colleges in India. Civil Engineering is one of the most traditional engineering specializations that students usually consider opting for after completing Class 12 as a regular BTech degree. It is better to go for a regular program, as distance BTech courses are invalid in India after the AICTE and UGC guidelines because of the practical nature of engineering and technology courses that require hands-on training, which is not possible in the distance mode.

With OBC-NCL rank of 29247 in JEE Main, it's likely you could get into Civil Engineering at a lower-tier NIT (National Institute of Technology) or potentially a Government-funded technical institute (GFTI). However, it's unlikely you'd get into a top-tier NIT or IIT.

The selection for the M.Tech Civil Engineering course is majorly done on the basis of valid entrance exam scores like that of GATE, Andhra Pradesh PGECET, CUET PG, CEETA, etc. Most of the colleges also conduct a Personal Interview round following the exam result declaration.
If you want to get into the IITs and NITs in India, you need to prepare really well for both the entrance test and interview process to grab a seat for yourself. Interestingly, if you're an IIT BTech graduate with at least 75% marks or 8 CGPA in graduation, you are eligible for direct admission to the M.Tech course.
