No, you cannot appear for the CMAT exam at any test centre. You can appear for the test at the centre mentioned in your CMAT admit card. Entry at every CMAT test centre is given to candidates only after thorough scrutiny of the hall ticket and ID proof. If you attempt to gain entry in any other test centre, you will be disqualified. Yes, entrance to Saurashtra University's MBA programme requires passing the CMAT. MBA candidates are required, to taken the CMAT exam administered by NTA and have received at least a 50% (45% for SC/ST/SEBC/EWS) on the qualifying exam.

Indeed, all universities require the CMAT in order to qualify for a special reduction under the NTA run tuition schedule. A CMAT score is beneficial but not required. You are still eligible to apply to Surashtra University's MBA programme even if you don't have a CMAT score of at least 55%. Direct enrollment in the programme is another option to join MBA at Saurashtra University.

Candidates who have a valid score of CAT and CMAT need not appear for VMOU MET. They can apply for admission basis their score in these exams. However, scores should not be more than one year old. For example, if you plan for VMOU MBA in 2026, you must have passed CAT 2025 or CMAT in 2026.
