Candidates willing to appear for CMAT Entrance Examination are advised to follow the following steps: 

• Open the official website of CMAT Examination. 

• Fill all the mandatory details like your name, email id and date of birth online to register for CMAT Examination.

• You must have recieved an OTP via email, complete your registration process with verifying through the same OTP or email verification.

• Browse through the website and find the CMAT application form, fill it with all the required details. 

• Complete all the details along with the scanned documents and signatures required .

• You will be led to payment page, make the payment and wait to receive the sms for successful registration of the candidate along with the application number.

CMAT Entrance Examination is believed to be easier than CAT and other entrance examination for students wanting to pursue Business and management programs.

Reasons for the same being the difficulty level of questions in both the examination, Former consists of questions with Easy to Moderate level of questions, while the latter has Moderate to Difficult level of questions. Other reasons include, the time limitation, CMAT has no sectional boundry, giving the candidates no stress about finishing a particular section first or on time. One more reason of why candidates find CMAT easier than most entrance examination is that it is held in the end of rest entrance examination like CAT, MAT or XAT, Making the candidates familiar with the common topics and question pattern.

There is no centralised process of counselling on national level for CMAT Entrance Examination.

CMAT is a national level entrance examination for students wanting to pursue Management Programs. The conducting body for the examination is National Testing Agency ( NTA).

After the examination, NTA no longer participates in the counselling process, counselling is in hands of the respective educational institutes who offer Masters programs to the students. 

To enroll for the counselling process, students are advised  to refer to the respective educational institutes that accepts CMAT Examination Score for Management programs in their institutes.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) of India administers the Common Management Admission Test (CMAT), an online computer-based exam, to help schools choose qualified applicants for admission to all management programmes that have been authorised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The CMAT 2024 exam is scheduled for April or May of that year. In 2024, the National Testing Agency will administer the CMAT exam in two shifts to candidates seeking admission to AICTE-approved MBA and PGDM programmes. The NTA will most likely reveal the CMAT 2024 exam date in February of 2024. The following list contains the tentative dates for the CMAT exam schedule in 2024:

CMAT is the entrance exam for admission to MBA/PGDM 2021-23 in the AICTE approved management institutes and will be conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) as computer based test of three hours duration in a single session. The high score in CMAT 2021 will offer MBA admission opportunity in 1000 AICTE approved MBA/PGDM colleges. All the AICTE - Govt of India approved management institutes are included in the list of CMAT score accepting colleges. CMAT assures admission in AICTE approved MBA/PGDM. CMAT 2021 is expected to be conducted on January 24 at several exam centers across India. CMAT 2021 exam notification is expected to be released soon and the registration process is expected to begin anytime. Candidates can fill the CMAT 2021 application forms online. The registration process is likely to start by the end of November 2020/first week of December 2020 with the release of exam notification by NTA.
