Indian Institute of Gems and Jewelry Mumbai (IIGJ), an initiative of GJEPC, was established under the aegis of Ministry of Commerce & Industries in 2003. The Institute has completed 15 years of educational training and overall 5000 students have qualified from various Jewelry courses. So in my opinion you should go with IIGJ because this course is fully focused on Jewelry design, while on other side M.Des in Lifestyle Accessory Design at NID is multi-disciplinary course which trains professional designers to visualize and create lifestyle accessories and systems using different materials, processes and technologies.
