Yes, you can get. Direct admission to 2 nd year of B.Tech program is conducted through a direct counseling round. This is held after the CAP-3 round of CET cell.

COEP Technological University (formerly known as COEP) admissions to all courses are strictly based on merit only. Hence, those candidates who do not have a valid score or rank in GATE or MHT-MTech are not eligible for admission to MTech courses of the College of Engineering Pune (COEP).There is no such provision to get admission to MTech at the College of Engineering Pune (COEP) without having a valid rank/ score in GATE.GATE is not necessarily required for MTech admissions in India. If you don't have GATE scores, you can aim to apply for MTech courses in private academic institutions in the country or seek study abroad opportunities

COEP consists of 44 active clubs and over 6 fests are conducted every academic year. Through these clubs, students get exposure and opportunities for personality development. Students' core teams are very active and motivated for every fest and club activities conducted at COEP Technological University. In addition to this, life at COEP is happening as the college is located at the very center of Pune in Shivajinagar which has all the facilities and nightlife that a student expects.

At the time of applying for the courses offered at College of Engineering, students need to upload/attest certain documents for verification. Students need to bring both original and photocopy of the documents. The original ones will be given back to the applicant once the application is done. Students belonging to the NRI categories need to submit additional paperwork for verification. Aspirants can refer to the following list to know of the required documents:
- Class 10 or equivalent marksheet
- Class 12 or equivalent marksheet
- Graduation marksheet
- Valid NRI certificate issued by the Indian Embassy (if applicable)
