Both these law schools are at par with each other, be it academics, mooting (though GNLU is doing substantially better of late), placements (NLU-J takes this one, but it’s all about the batch size) and other basic criteria. NEF Law Entrance Test is an entrance exam conducted by NEF Law College, affiliated to Gauhati University, for admission to five-year integrated LLB courses and postgraduate law course offered at the law college.
The exam was held in pen-paper based mode and consisted of 182 questions carrying a total of 200 marks. The duration of the exam was 2 hours and 30 minutes. The exam was in English language only.
