M.Tech at Tezpur university is better than M.Tech at SMVDU because the placements at Tezpur university provides much better options and salaries as compared to SMVDU.
In comparison of both the universities it can be seen that the highest package of M.Tech at SMVDU in year 2022 was 3.6 LPA while at tezpurTuniversity was 4.01 LPA.

Yes, Gauhati University offers a two-year LLM programme in the field of Law. Offered via six affiliated colleges under Gauhati University, admission to LLM is subject to a university-level entrance exam. On the basis of the scores obtained in the GU-conducted LLM entrance exam, a merit list is prepared with the names of the selected candidates. NLU Assam CLAT cutoff 2026 is now out for all rounds regarding admission to the BA LLB (Hons) and LLM courses. For the General AI category, the overall cutoff ranged from 1322 to 2049, with the LLM course and its various specialisations being the tougher courses for enrolment.
On the other hand, for the General HS quota, the overall cutoff ranged from 1563 to 3519, with the LLM course and its branches also being the more competitive courses for this category.
