CSE is one of the most sought after specialisation at IIT Guwahati. As per the last round of cutoff release in 2024, the cutoff rank for CSE among the General AI category candidates was 623. In 2023, the cutoff rank for CSE was closed at 654. Morever, in 2022, the cutoff rank for the aforementioned category and speciallisation closed at 589.
