To appear for the MU BAAT essay section effectively, candidates must:

  • Know the format, and practice essay writing on various topics.
  • Read topic and prompts carefully. The prompt will provide candidates with the topic or question on which they need to write essay.
  • Take a few minutes to plan essay. Brainstorm ideas, structure essay, and candidates must make sure to have a clear introduction, body, and conclusion.
  • Follow rules. Such as: 

a. Use proper grammar and spelling
b. Use clear language
c. Use proper punctuation and formatting

Typically, Bow Valley College takes approximately 6 to 8 weeks to process your application form. Provided that the college has received all the required documentation and the application fee is paid. Also, the applications to the International ELL program takes around 2 weeks.  In the final stage of applicaiton process interntaional students receive their Letter of Acceptance, which is used for immigration purposes.

No, It is not compulsory to appear for MU BAAT for admission to PGP TBM programme of Masters' Union. Candidates having valid score in GMAT, GRE, or CAT will be exempted from taking MU BAAT process. Such candidates will be shortlisted for interview rounds basis on the score obtained in GMAT, GRE or CAT examination. 

However, if a candidate feels that his/her score in GMAT, GRE and CAT is not competitive enough, they can opt to take MU BAAT exam. MU BAAT 2026 will be held in three phases. The first phase of MU BAAT will be held till October 19, 2025.
