SRM IST BTech 2025 application process is entirely online. Candidates must first register on the official portal using their email ID and mobile number. After registration, fill in your course preference details in the application form. Next must upload scanned documents like photo, signature, and Class 10 & 12 marksheets. Application fee can be paid via UPI, net banking, or card. Once submitted, students must appear for SRMJEEE. Based on the result, candidates participate in counselling, complete fee payment upon seat allotment, and finally attend orientation with original documents before starting classes.

Students should focus on topics based on their Class 12 CBSE syllabus. The entrance test includes questions from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Biology (depending on stream), English, and Aptitude. The test format is multiple-choice and it don't have negative marking. Preparation should start early as the exam can be tricky and competitive. The application fee is INR 1200 per phase, and students can appear in more than one phase if needed to improve their score.
