Getting admission in Tagore Engineering College is considered difficult.However, admission is based on TNEA (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission) ranking.you have to score good in 12th grade also to secure a seat in top branches like Computer Science and Electrical and electronics Engineering.

Candidates are selected on the basis of their performance in the HSC (+2) examination conducted by the state and through counselling (TNEA) conducted by Anna University Chennai, selected candidates are allotted to various colleges for admission and it includes Tagore Engineering College also.

Both Annamalai University and Chennai Institute of Technology are good options to pursue ME/MTech. However, in terms of affordability, Annamalai University is more affordable since the tuition fees to pursue ME/MTech at Annamalai University range from INR 50,000 to INR 1.1 lakh, and the tuition fee to pursue ME/MTech at Chennai Institute of Technology is INR 1.6 lakh.

With a rank of 1320 in phase 2 2024 of SRMJEEE, your admission chances to the Computer Science Engineering (CSE) at the SRM main campus are good. The estimated cutoff for CSE at the SRM Chennai Campus ranges around 8000-9000. You have a better chance of admission since your rank falls below the estimated range. Previously, the cutoff for CSE at SRM Chennai Campus was about 9500-10500 . The total fee for the B.Tech CSE programme at SRM main campus is about INR 10 Lacs per annum.

Yes, IIITDM Kancheepuram does offer Man . Tech in Computer Science and Engineering with a specialisation in (Data Science and Artificial Intelligence)that lasts for two years. Further, the institute also offers dual degrees B.Tech and M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineeringwhicht is a five years course offered at the UG level. Admission to the courses is subject to a valid score in teh GATE exam followed by the CCMT counselling.

IIITDM Kancheepuram M.Tech course seats are offered based on the GATE score. Therefore, candidates must appear for the GATE exam and acquire a valid percentile to be eligible for the CCMT counselling via which the seats are allotted. Candidates must have a BTech degree in relevant subject with at least 6.5 CGPA or 60% aggregate.
The merit list for M.Tech seal allocation will be prepared based on the GATE scores.
