According to the IIT Madras guidelines, any student who has an attendance of less than 85% will not be permitted to appear in the end-semester exams. Students must attend classes on a regular basis so that they do not miss important lectures. In case Chennai IIT students miss classes due to health reasons, they must contact the teachers for leave approval.

Bhajarang Engineering College has good infrastructure with excellent coaching. The college atmosphere is very healthy. The drawbacks are the hostel and canteen. Transportation facilities and practical classes are the strengths. The institute offers 8 courses such as B.E. / B.Tech. The courses offered at the institute are approved by AICTE.
