A.R. Engineering College (AREC) can be considered an average college. It is affiliated with Anna University and approved by the AICTE. It offers basic facilities including a library and sufficient labs, although there aren't hostel amenities. With 50–60% placement rates and packages up to INR 4 LPA from firms like TCS, placements remain modest. Although they lack industry exposure, faculty members are qualified. Because there aren't many extracurricular activities, campus life is ranked poorly. It's not a great option, but it's appropriate for students on a tight budget.

Danish Ahmed College of Engineering—DACE, Chennai, is a reputed local private institution founded by Ayyanavaram Educational Trust in 2001. Affiliated to Anna University and accredited by NAAC with an A+ grade, it offers B.E./B.Tech courses with branches in Computer Science, Mechanical, and Petroleum Engineering.
With a student review rating of 3.4/5 on cheap fees (INR 1.8-2 Lacs total) and decent infrastructure, the college has not been prominent among IIT Madras or other top-tier colleges. A local flavor is being imbibed through placement records (60-85%) with Wipro, TCS, etc., and a specific minority educational focus. outputs

Dhaanish Ahmed College of Engineering, situated in Chennai, is not famed on par with top institutes like IITs or NITs. Founded in 2001, it has gained recognition regionally throughout Tamil Nadu for its B.E./B.Tech programs for under INR 80,000 (50,000-80,000 per annum) in CSE and ECE, both affiliated with Anna University.
The appeal of this institution lies in its capacity to cater to the minority and rural sections of society, thus creating a diverse student group. Infrastructure is decent. Placement percentages were moderate at about 50% with salaries in the range of INR 3-5 LPA for companies such as TCS and Wipro.
