DoMS IIT Madras calls the selected candidates for PhD interview round. The first phase of interview is technical where the candidate is tested on the domain knowledge. The evaluation is done by the panel of faculty members in the area of specialisations selected by the candidates. The member evaluates the understanding of the aspirants in the domain.

The basic eligibility criteria for admission to the BDS course at SRM Dental College is Class 12 with a minimum of 50% aggregate. The accepted entrance exam is NEET.
