According to my research, the average fees for Hindustan Institute of Engineering Technology (HIET) in Chennai are INR 1,77,167 per year, while the average fees for ASET Institute of Technology in Chennai are INR 1,20,000 per year. Therefore, HIET is more expensive than ASET by about INR 57,167 per year.

However, the fees may vary depending on the course, duration, and mode of study.

The time duration of the entrance examination is 2 hours. Students are required to answer 120 questions covering Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. Based on the entrance examination score and marks in the qualifying examination, a rank list is prepared for admission into U.G (Engineering & Technology) Programmes.
