Hello Sohini Mondal, admissions in engineering colleges in the state of Tamil Nadu are restricted to domiciles of that state. It's difficult to get admission for a student who is not having domicile. However it's a different story for seats under management quota of private colleges. However, for this you will need to approach management individually.

The two IITs that you mentioned are the best in the country. It's almost impossible to distinguish between the two as academics, placements, and faculty are all top-notch in both these establishments. Hence I would not like to place one over the other. However, there would be diehard proponents for each of these to say that theirs is the best. However, I would strongly advise that take admission where it is most convenient. Best wishes to you.

UG stands for Undergraduate. UG course is generally three or four years programme that is done after completing class 12th. On the other hand, PG stands for Postgraduate which is generally for one or two years.
