Unfortunately no . National Institute Of Fashion Technology (NIFT) does not accept admission without the NIFT entrance examination. There is no management quota or anything as such that can ensure a student's admission without merit .

Candidates must appear in the NIFT examination and score a decent rank to get admission in NIFT Delhi.

To know more about it, refer to the official website.

The minimum eligibility criteria for admission to DTU is 60% marks in the 12th board exam, with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as mandatory subjects. You meet this criteria. However, the final admission to DTU is based on the JEE Mains rank, not just the 12th marks. For the general category, meeting cutoff requires a JEE Mains rank within the top 4,500. For SC/ST candidates, the cutoff is slightly lower, but a rank of 106,645 in the SC category is still quite low.

Yes DTU is considered as a good option to go for BDes.

DTU is a well established university with strong reputation in engineering. This brand value can be beneficial in job market. Being part of technical university can expose you to engineering principles and design thinking with a technical bent, which could be valuable in certain design fields. Faculty size is lower compared to dedicated design colleges but some professors hold qualifications from prestigious design institutes. Compared to private design colleges DTU provides BDes programme at a more affordable cost.
