 NIFT is providing good placements, in the past they have also provided good placements. The highest salary offered was Rs. 50,000 per month, and the lowest salary offered was Rs. 30,000 per month. The average salary offered was Rs. 40,000 per month. Gucci and D&G were the top recruiting companies. Almost 90% of students got internships from B.Des in Gucci. For admission to BSc at CUHP, students need to qualify the minimum eligibility criteria. Candidate must appear in CUET in any of the following subject combinations:

Combination I: Physics + Chemistry + Biology /Biological Studies / Biotechnology Or

Combination II: Physics + Chemistry + Mathematics merit will be based on the ‘best CUET score’ obtained in any of the above-mentioned combination of subjects. The candidate must obtain a minimum of 30% marks insection I of CUET

For admission to BSc course at CUHP, the university accepts a valid score of CUET exam, which is conducted by NTA once a year. Students need to fulfil a minimum eligibility criteria, register on the official website of CUET by entering basic details along with making university and course selection and qualify for the exam. After qualifying for the exam, students again need to register themselves for counselling on the university's portal and the final selection will be based on the merit list released by the university.

The Central University of Himachal Pradesh offers admission to various UG courses based on CUET UG scores followed by round-wise counselling. The university releases the merit lists for candidates who qualify for the cutoff. As per Central University of Himachal Pradesh cutoff 2023, the Round 1 closing score for B.A. (Hons.) in Sanskrit is 62, for B.Sc.
