Maharishi Markandeshwar University BSc admission is based on both merit and entrance exams. The university accepts national-level exams for admissions. CUET UG is a national-level entrance exam conducted by NTA for admission to UG courses. The exam is conducted in a computer-based mode. Candidates seeking admission at Maharishi Markandeshwar University must meet the prescribed eligibility criteria.

The Post-Matric Scholarship (PMS) that the students at CDLU can avail of is an inititative of the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India. Students belonging to the scheduled castes (SC) and other backward castes (OBC) are eligible to apply for PMS. Applicants must be pursuing post-matriculation or post-secondary courses from a recognised institute. Applicants must have a domicile of Haryana and their family income must be less than or equal to INR 2.5 Lacs per annum.
