GD Goenka University is a Private University established in consonance with section 2 (f) of UGC Act through a legislation of the Haryana Government. The Deemed Universities are established by Ministry of HRD under Section 3 of the UGC Act. In little over three years, the University has created a significant position for itself and has become a preferred destination for students and scholars from across India and abroad. UGC recognition was given to University in the second year of its existence thus making it one of the youngest universities to achieve this FEAT. Few important awards and ranking is given below.
