Sons & daughters of All India service Tamil Nadu cadre officers are eligible to apply. A Self declaration from the parent in this regard is to be produced. Children of employees in the Public Sector or Government recognised institutions had been working in their organisations for the past five years are also eligible, irrespective of their domicile. Both the colleges you have mentioned are chosen by many students and they have quite moderate reputation.
The straight forward answer is that School of Engineering and Technology is a better college than that of the APS Bangalore. School of Engineering and Technology have a better laboratory, library, classes and infrastructure available which is one of the important thing one need. Apart from this, there are more number of faculty members available in the School of Engineering and Technology who have better qualification compared to that APS Bangalore and also the faculty members have quite a good diversity.

Yes MBA at IIFA Lancaster better than AAT College, Bangalore due to several factors.
Like affordability and return on investment in IIFL Lancaster is much higher than that of AAT college Bangalore.
Accepted exams in both colleges:
CAT/MATC/MAT/XAT/ GMAT/KARNATAKA 2nd PUC
Along with the minimum score candidate must follow general eligibility criteria that is.
- Bachelor's degree: a degree from a recognised university and approved by AICTE.
- A valid entrance exam score: accepted exams - CAT, MAT, CMAT, XAT, GMAT, KARNATAKA 2nd PUC
- Interview: an interview round or group discussion is held by selection committee.
