No, in below two situations, candidates are exempted from appearing for SMEAT:
- Applicants who have taken UCEED examination can choose to exempt from Test 1 if their All India Rank is 600 or below provided they are able to submit their result at the time of application.
- Aspirants who have taken the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) and scored a composite score of 1,100 or above can choose to exempt from Test 1 provided they are able to submit their result at the time of application.

Yes, Srishti Manipal accepts CEED score for admission to MDes programme. However, it is no mandatory to qualify CEED. Aspirants can appear for SMEAT conducted by Srishti College. Applicants who have taken CEED examination can exempt from Test 1 of SMEAT if their All India Rank is 500 or below provided they are able to submit their result at the time of application.
