During the regular academic year, we have a comprehensive assessment system in place for each theory subject. This system is divided into two parts: the internal examination and the external examination. In order to be eligible for the external examination, it is crucial to pass the internal examination first.
The internal examination carries 50 marks, with a minimum passing requirement of 20 marks (40%). This examination is further divided into two parts, with two internal exams of 40 marks each. These marks are then converted to 20 marks each. Additionally, 10 marks are allocated for online post-tests and assignments, ensuring a comprehensive evaluation process.
If a student fails to achieve the minimum passing marks of 20 in the internal examination, they will not be eligible to proceed to the external examination for that particular subject. However, we understand that setbacks can happen, and we provide an opportunity for redemption.
During the holiday period of approximately two months, the student will have another chance to apply and rewrite all the exams for that particular subject. This allows the student to focus solely on that subject and dedicate their time and effort to ensure a better outcome.
