In the First year, there are two groups core and non-core groups:

Core engineering includes - computer science, IT, ENTC, electrical, electronics, etc.

And non core includes - mechanical, civil, production, and textile technology engineering, etc. 

In VJTI grades are as follows AA, BB, CC, DD, FF and II 

FF indicates that he/she is failed in subject. 

II indicates that person was absent for written paper

One has to score at least 35 marks for passing.

Yes, B.Tech in Electronics and telecommunication engineering is offered in VJTI. 

It most preferred branch after Computer Science and IT branches. So cut off is very high 99-97 percentile for general category. 60 seats are available for 10+2 students and 20 students for direct second year students. If you go for ENTC and want to go for software sector then you can get good scope because of course and programming skills taught here

Placement package may go to 60 LPA.

And top recruters are Amazon and Linkedin. etc.

Yes, B.Tech in mechanical engineering is offred in VJTI. 

Seats available is 60 for 10+2 students. And 20 seats for direct second year students 

MHTCET cut off is around 95-97 percentile for general category. Mechanical engineering has very vast alumni network which will be helpful for future opportunities.

Yes, B.Tech in civil engineering is offered in VJTI. 

Civil engineering is core engineering subject . Civil engineering in VJTI has 60 seats for first year after 10+2 students. 20 seats for direct second year Diploma students. For open students cut off for mhtcet is around 97-95 percentile. 

Civil department has best classrooms than other branches in VJTI. 

Honorable  Politition industialist Jayantrao patil is civil engineering alumni. VJTI has very best alumni network . If you get admission in VJTI then you in best institute in Maharashtra.

Being a government autonomous institution fee amount is very less as compare to other private colleges

All Diploma first year students have same fee structure . The variation lies in respective caste of student . Open caste students have to pay full fees. Obc, sbc, sc, st, etc. have discount in fee amount . 

Fee structure of Diploma includes

1.Tution fees

2.Development fees

3.Other fees

4.Exam fees

5.Student insurance fees

6.Std dept and caution Money

Fees amount is as follows

1.Open - 11209Rs

2.OBC/VJ/NT/SBC - 3954Rs

3. SC, ST - 2954 Rs

4.TFWS - 5209 Rs

Yes, B.Tech in well-known branch  IT is offered in VJTI. 

One has to get good marks in mhtcet which is entrance exam for engineering. One have to score 99 percentile with decent rank . Seats available here is 60 for B.Tech students and 20 for Diploma students. There is also same branch named COMPUTER ENGINEERING. Both need very high ranking in Maharashtra. 

IT branch gets good placement in like in google, adobe, etc. Some students also start their own venture in AI and ML .

Being a government autonomous Institute fee amount is very less as compare to private colleges. 

All Diploma branches have same fee structure. Variation is in students caste. As per caste open caste students have to pay full fee amount and other castes like OBC, VJNT, etc. have fee discount or have to pay less fee amount

There are two messes in VJTI one is for girls and another is for boys. These are located near respective hostel. Girls have totally different section and boys too. Girls mess is very hygienic with good taste and variety. Food in girls mess is cheap too. On the other hand boys mess have opposite qualities as compare to girls mess. Chapaties made here not good. Dals are made with less amount of cereals. 

You can find canteen in VJTI center which is good as compared to hostel mess. Here you get veg thali for 58rs . For 60-65rs you get different items at different days like sometimes chole bhature, sandwich, veg biryani, paneer chapati
