Yes, he can do Diploma in computer engineering. Go for Diploma in computer engineering. It is a good course compared to B.Sc with CS. He cannot continue both as our education system doesn't allow to continue two regular courses at the same time. It is not legal by government means. You can't undergo two courses in one time unless one is through distance. You have to left one course and do the other.

If you are going to do a distance course, it's always better to go for the better one. I would strongly suggest you go for a Masters program, it widens your career options. But again the university is not that bad either. The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), an autonomous institution of the University Grants Commission (UGC) has accredited NMIMS University with Grade 'A' (Score 85-90%) Deemed University Status Based on the recommendations of the University Grants Commission and All India Council for Technical Education.

Hello Ishika Jaiswal.
Minimum qualification is 12th passed/appearing with 75% aggregate of best four including 85% in English for general category. A general candidate should have Minimum 60% in four subjects (including mathematics), 54% for OBC, and passing marks are required for SC/ST.
