Seats for the MS programme are categorized as 61 seats for Gujarati Minority, 30 seats for Maharashtra state domicile, 24 Institute level seats (Accepting only CET Score), 5 are all India seats (Accepting CAT, XAT, CET, CMAT ). For further details visit: https://simsr.somaiya.edu/en/admissions/mms.

Dear Anjali,
Both colleges are good. However, as a personal point of view I would suggest NM for your course. NM has a good background for such courses. Further you might also get benefit for your PG from there as the institution is a well-established brand name for PG courses as well.

St Xavier's, Mumbai offers B.Com only as an evening course which means you need to have a job for day time and then only you are eligible for it. As far as I know B.Com here isn't very great. You won't get a college life, as the evening college is kept separate form Xavier's usual curriculum.

It varies course wise for PGDIM it is 65 and for PGDISEM it is also 65 percentile.
