Since all the programmes of NIT Nagaland are entrance exam based. So seats are allotted through individual counselling. For example, a BTech seat is allotted through JoSSA counselling. To apply for BTech based on national-level entrance exam, candidates need to visit the official website of NTA to fill out the application form and pay the prescribed application fee online. BTech aspirants must fill out the application form for JEE Main through the official website of the National Testing Agency. The application fee for boys is INR 1,000 and for girls, it is INR 800. NIT Agartala is much developed than Nagaland. So you should prefer NIT Agartala although you're getting a lower branch. But if you're interested in studying CIVIL engineering only then go for Nagaland, College doesn't matter much.
