Colleges in Philippines

From an Indian perspective, it is far better for MBBS in the Philippines as it is mainly taught in English, thus avoiding any of the at times strenuous language barriers that one can find in Germany where at least a basic proficiency in German would be required.

 Philippines also gives an interesting 5.5-year course with BS-MD pathway and cost altogether around INR 20 to 30 lakh, which is still manageable given the higher living costs in Germany, though universities charge nothing at the public level. NEET is needed for both countries, but admission in the Philippines is much more straightforward (10+2 with 50% PCB), while Germany asks for relatively higher scores in the academic field and language tests (TestDaF).

After getting the admission confirmation from the University of Perpetual Help, the students must arrange all these documents with the VISA fee:

·         Passport 

·         Police clearance

·         Medical certificate

·         Certificate of good moral character

·         Psychological clearance certificate from their country of origin

·         Visa application form

·         Official documents transcripts

·         Letter of acceptance which is the letter of enrolment at the University of Perpetual Help  

·         English language proficiency proof

·         Passport-sized photos

·         Travel and medical insurance

·         Financial documents (Bank statements or another documents that might prove the financial background)

·         Support letter issued by the bank in case of a loan

The VISA application fee for Germany, is INR 20,902 which is non-refundable in case of a rejection.
